I am off on holidays for a week!!

It's currently midnight, 

And I have finally got everything done that I need to,

Now time to go to bed,

Sleep for 3 and a half hours,

Then get up to catch a flight to Melbourne!

Excitement!!!

Eights hours of work stand between me and my holidays,

Oh how I am excited!

Tonight I have clean the whole house,

 as we have a house inspection the day after I get home,

I have done loads of washing,

I have cleaned my room from top to bottom,

I have typed up all guest blog posts for while I am away

Final tidy up of house,

And some where in there sleep,

As Kat and I have to be up at 3:30am

A Girl With Curls...

I am not one that likes to put photos up of myself,

I'm kinda camera shy,

And don't have a huge amount of self confidence 

(to be completely honest)

But I thought that you may like to see 

What I do when I feel like a change,

When I feel like a mini-make over.

I was born with curly ringlet hair,

Growing up I hated it,

I dread my hair being brushed,

Because it hurt like hell when it was knotty.

I could never do anything with it,

It would just go frizzy,

Kinda looking like a fur ball.

But in my adult years,

I have come to love it.

I have learnt how to control it,

And make it look cool.

Sure it take a lot of effort,

And cost quiet a bit too with the products I have to use,

But it's well worth it!

Now I love my hair and don't wish for anything different.

Even though I love my curls,

Once in a while I feel like a change,

Feel like being different for a day of two.

That's when I do this...

Turn my curls to straight hair!

What do you think?

Different isn't it!

And my hair is so much longer straight!

Well another Wednesday has come around,

But guess what...

This time next week I will be in Melbourne,

Spending my time relaxing and shopping and having fun for a week!

Oh how I am excited!

This week I would like to introduce you all to

10 Things That Make Megan Happy!!!

1. rainy, cloudy days. they smell so delicious. i wish i could just constantly inhale. exhaling ruins everything.
2. bike rides during presunsets. you know, that hour before the sun starts going down. everything looks so bright with the sun so close to the earth.
3. letters in the mail from my best friend. they dont come often, but when they do im the happiest girl alive.
4. music. especially country music. it tugs at my heartstrings like nothing else. if i could marry it i would. that sounds dramatic but its true.
5. singing and dancing in the shower. the dancing can be a little hazardous at times but just singing will do.
6. reading a good book. the kind where you zone out the rest of the world and nothing else matters.
7. soccer!! its the most glorious sport in the entire world. i could play it for hours and hours on end.
8. photography. mainly film photography. i love the challenge that comes with film. youve gotta be so sure before you take the shot.
9. ballroom dancing. only with a certain boy though.
10. making wishes. catching 11:11, seeing the first star, birthday candles, eyelashes, dandelions, tossing coins into a well...any and all wish making makes my heart so happy.

I guess it's one of the things that held onto from my childhood.

They are releasing a short sequel to Tangled!!!!

I am excited!

For me it was my dentist check up today!

Which is weird for me as I not a big fan of the dentist at all!

But the reason it made me happy, 

Was because I passed with flying colours,

No work needing to be done,

Meaning I don't have to see him for another 6 months!

Friday Fun!

Wow, this past week has been so busy but oh so much fun.

Tonight has been my only night home by myself,

And it's been the best way to end my weekend.

So let me give you a bit of a run down of my Friday night!

To start off the evening Kat and me did alot of running around in order to get ready for a dance.

The theme of the dance was 'Colours of the Rainbow'

Check out our outfits!

Really bad photo of myself!

But you get the idea,

I'm kicking myself for not getting a full shot of what we were wearing!

I had one yellow and one green converse shoes one,

Bright Pink stockings, grey skirts,

Blue, green and pink top,

Green, yellow and pink sprayed hair,

and lots of bright accessories!

We left the dance at 10:45 for a important date...

A date with a wish!

So with had a helium balloon,

We did have two but one escaped!

And together we wrote out some of the wishes we have for our lives!

With our wishes written,

At 11:11 we made our grand wish in silence with let the balloon go,

Floating off into the night air under the light of the full moon.

To top the night off, 

A couple of seconds later,

Someone let off a random firework!

Awesome night!

Finishing with us crashing into bed at 2am!

I am so sorry for the lack of posting over the last couple of day!

Life has been so busy,

That I haven't had a chance to post,

let alone get a good nights sleep!

But I promise to fill you all in on the happening of my life tomorrow!

101 In 1001 Update...

2# Send a care package.

Completed.

Unfortunately I totally forgot to take a photo of either of the care packages that I have done over the last few month, I'm really kicking myself for that.

Over the past two months I have done two care package.

The first one was to a close friend who is currently serving a full time mission.

He's package contained his favourite food, golf balls, toys to entertain his quiet time.

The second package was to another good friend,

This package didn't have to go through the post,

But it did take involve a late night creep up a dark drive way,

Sneaking along the front yard,

Placing the package quietly on the door mat and ringing the door bell,

Then running as fast as possible in flip flops (not easy!) while trying not to fall over, 

Jumping in waiting car, and driving off before being caught.

-Fun!-

Really really kicking myself for not taking a photo,

The last package looked awesome,

Picture a big red box with a white bow, pretty.

Sending packages are fun!

And receiving packages is awesome!

One Part the I look forward to about my future wedding,
Is the dancing!

I look forward to the first dance I have with my future husband,
What the song will be, I have no clue,
But one things I do know is that I want it to have a special meaning to us,
I want it to be a song that I listen to and it instantly reminds me of him,
No matter where I am,
How far apart we are from each other,
Or even if we are fighting,
I want it to remind me of the love I have for him.

When I very first heard the song "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle,
I fell in love with it, thinking that it would be a amazing father daughter wedding dance.
To this day I still do!

This evening I also came across a song by Carrie Underwood called Mama,
And again I fell in love,
This is a song that I would also liked played at my wedding,
And it would be dedicated to my amazing Mother!

I am a mormon,

I am proud of member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints.

I am a daughter of god,

I am so thankful for the gospel in my life,

The blessing that it bring to my life,

The peace and comfort that it bring to me.

And the person it makes me want to become,

A better person,
A giving, humble and caring person.
A person of hope and faith.

I know that the church is true,

I know that the book of mormon is true.

My life is different with the church apart of it.

I am a different person.
And I look forward to the future.

Being Crafty...

Me, I'm not really the crafty type.

But I do wish that I was.

Yesterday Kat showed me a project she wanted to do,

Friendship Bracelets.

Today was a beautiful day,

And both myself and Kat just felt like relaxing, and not doing much at all.

So I decided to try my hand at making a bracelet while we sat outside.

It's not perfect,

But it looks awesome.

Can't wait till it's finished.

In the photo you can't really see colours,

But they are blue, green, orange, and yellow.

Anyone else ever made one of these?
