Call Me Maybe?

When I saw this video I couldn't help but crack up laughing,
It is so well done by the U.S. Marines,
Lip syncing and dancing to 'Call me maybe'!

Well done soldiers nice work!!!

Absent...

So I know that I promised to blog everyday...
And I haven't done very well.
I blame it on two things...

My newest addiction to knitting
Thanks Kat
I know feel like a little old lady!

And the Tour de France is currently on.
For us here in Australia it means late nights
As the tour airs here live... between 10pm til 2am.
Two more weeks left of the tour, then I can have a good long sleep,
Til then I am hanging out for the weekend to catch up on my sleep.

Go Cadel Evans!!

I'll be back soon with some good blog posts I promise,
Once I finish my scarf :)

Growing Old...

When I grow up....
I am to be like this picture...
I want to still giggle with friends,
Do random fun things,
Have a love of books.
And enjoy everything that life has to give me.

Winter Warmer

This year I think I must have blocked out just how cold it can get here in Tasmania.
Now that we are kind of in the middle of winter,
That of which I have been reminded.
Mornings are fresh, the walks to work have been interesting.
There have been a couple of mornings with fun frost and ice,
One morning nearly slipped over 4 times, and then successfully split over on the ice.
But I keep myself rugged up with my scarf, mittens, and my knitted head band to keep me toasty warm.

The winter has inspired me to get crafty though...
Tomorrow I am going to be shopping with my mum,
We are on the hunt for some nice fluffy, chunky wool, to make a scarf.

Thank you Pinterest for providing me with so much inspiration to what to make,

This is my main piece of inspiration for what I want my scarf to look like.
It just makes me feel a little bit warmer just looking at it.

Here are some other things that make me feel a bit warmer

All of this would definitely make me toasty and warm this winter!
Or at my knitting rate... next winter!

Quote of the moment...

These two quotes are SO true!!!

The Month To Come...

Hello July!!
July, you have no idea to how glad I am to see you!
I have new goals that I would like to achieve.
This month is more so about enjoying what life has to offer.
It is about finding a balance of what I enjoy doing.
It is crazy how fast this year seems to be speeding past.

This month I aim to make up to you my slack blogging of last month by blogging every day this month.
I have lots of new ideas so please stay tuned!

I am also aiming to take more photos.
And to also post a quote each day.
I have always had a love of quotes and photos,
But kinda lost that interest for a little while.
Now thanks to my addiction to Pinterest and Instagram,
My love is back to normal!
If you would like to keep up to date with these posts check them out on Instagram.
I will be posting the quotes onto the blog as well every now and again.

Lot's planned for the month,
Looking forward to everything!

What do you want to achieve this month??

*Learning so much through preparing and teaching my relief society lesson this month.
*Reflecting on life and what I want for my future

This month has been a bit of a roller coaster,
This whole past month has been pretty busy,
But through out all of the highs and lows that have happened this month,
I have learnt so much,
I have been able to take a moment at times through out the busy parts of life,
To take the time to think about what I really want.
To clear my thoughts, to sort through the jumbled mess.

Let me share with you a couple of my thoughts...
*I am grateful for friends that know me so well and care about me so much that they can tell when things are off with me and know when I really need a person to be there with the tub of ice cream on a bad day.
*I am grateful for the trials that I have in my life, I have learnt so much from each and every one that comes along. I may not like them at that point in time, but looking back I see the reasons to why I needed to endure through each one.
*It is not easy to have faith, especially to have faith in the Lord's timing.
*I love long conversations with friends, they help me to see things clearer.
*I am lucky to have the close relationship that I have with my parents.
*I look forward to the plans for my future, it won't be easy to achieve them but they sure will be worth it.

Join me for the ride in July...
