My Husband Made Me A Geek...

Before I meet my husband, Chris, I had never seen star wars, I had seen the first few Marvel movies but wasn't "Deep" into knowing about the comics or their back stories or how they are all linked together.

Well other that change....

My husband now has me hooked on all kinds of geeky things... Star wars, Marvel, Pokemon.
It still amazes me to this day. But I actually surprisingly enjoy it. It's something that we both love and do together. We love our movies and tv shows so it's nice that we both get into it together.
But I will never get into the scary horror type movies, nope no way his on his own, I draw the line there!

So with saying that I am HUGELY excited about the new teaser trailer for Thor: Ragnarok. And plus fellow Australia Chris Hemsworth is hot, you can't deny that one!

P.s. my favourite line is from Thor: "YES..... We know each other, his a friend from work!"

One that I am going to buy when it is released!

Excitement!!

The Avengers comes out this year,

And with every trailer that I watch, I just get more and more excited.

It looks awesome... and plus I love the sarcasm of Iron Man.

What Would You Do For Love??

Last day of holidays was pretty great!

Even though the list of things that I wanted to get done didn't really get done, I still have this weekend to achieve those thing! 

And I am determined to get them done!

Tonight me and a friend discovered a AMAZING restaurant.

So good that we booked the same table to go back to in a fortnights time.

You know the feeling that you get when you try a new restaurant.

You have the hope of something amazing,

You have your hopes set high.

Well this location did not let us down!

The service.... fantastic!

The food... Mouth watering heavenly goodness!

Add great conversation and it was a awesome dinner.

Seriously good food! 

My mouth is watering just looking at the picture and knowing that I will be back there in a fortnight!

Following the amazing dinner we headed off to see the movie 'The Vow'

This movie is amazing.

If i wasn't in fit of laughter at one of my friend who was crying, pretty much from the start of the movie, then I would have been crying too!

(When I said crying, I mean endless tears running down her face, seriously it was HILARIOUS!)

This movie was filled with laughter and tears, you couldn't help but feel it tug on your heart strings.

How determined her must be and how much strength and love he must have for her.

I can only hope that I have that much love for my future husband and him for me.

What would you do for love?

My favourite parts of the movie was when he was singing Meatloaf to her in the car, the box that he give her when he is sick, and how much fun they have in the relationship.

I'll admit it...

I AM A HOPELESS ROMANTIC!!

Once Upon A Time...

As you know I have recently become a fan of the tv show 'Once Upon A Time'

And now I have to movies that I am looking forward to seeing when they are released later this year.

It seems that you have turn from the world of vampires and werewolf's,

To the fairy tales of our childhood.

Two movies,

Same title,

Same base story,

But totally different.

Can't wait to see both.

I wonder what fairytale Hollywood will do next?

A Kid At Heart....

I love disney movies,

I guess it's one of the things that held onto from my childhood.

My favourite disney movie is,

Well equal favourites are

Beauty and the Beast 

And 

Tangled

And guess what...

When they re-release Beauty and the Beast to the movies soon,

They are releasing a short sequel to Tangled!!!!

I am excited!

Can't wait to see it!!

We Love them & They Love Us...

After the first attempt last night to see "The Help" failed,

Lisa and I were finally able to go and watch it tonight and...

OH MY GOSH

I love this movie.

I loved it so much that I cried!

This movie is set in the 1960's

It's about a write who wants to write a book from the view of the help.

In this time in the world the help were African American maids.

Who had less rights in all areas of life then the white people.

Even though they were they ones that were raising the white people's child.

It is such a moving movie,

Heart felt, and such a strong story behind it.

The movie was amazing!

And my sister tells me that the book is even better!

I know which book I'm buying next.

My favourite quote from the movie was...

"You is Kind. You is Smart. You is Important."

Sweet Romance!

The other day Alycia from Crowley Party shared a cute little movie that I have just been dying to share with you ever since I watched it.

All I am going to say is that I LOVE this short film, 

I hope that some day a guy will make that type of effort with me, 

& accept me how I am too!

And I really like the actors in it.
Amy Adams is a really good actress,
I always tend to like the movies she's in.

Can't wait to see this new one!

Book Of The Moment...

Recently I have finished reading the book "Red Riding Hood"

The book was pretty good, I just hope that the movie is too.

The story line kept me guessing and entertained.

I like the twists in the story compared to the normal old tale.

And well the guys in the book sounds HOT so hopefully they cast the actors well.

Oh how I have missed him.

Johnny Depp is hilarious as the character Jack Sparrow!

The fourth movie in the Pirates of the Caribbean is coming in 3D

Tonight I watch one of the Jane Austen classics- Pride and Prejudice (2005 movie)

My favourite part of the movie is of course the ending as I am a hopeless romantic!

What this movie last night, wasn't too bad, it had some funny parts and kept me entertained.

I like the trailer, the movie is just like the trailer but I never expect a lot from movie especially ones that were graphic novels made into movie.

This is my movie collect, minus a couple that are out on loan. There are over 250 movies in my collect. Also at the bottom of the bookcase there are some TV shows, work out dvds, Wii games, PS2 games.

One of my loves is curling up and relaxing and watching a good movie. I'm sure that my collect will grow even more, at the moment I am collecting the disney classics as they are released.
