Someday I Will...

I want to swim with great white sharks.
Of course with me being in a nice strong cage.
I have always had a amazement with great white sharks.
They are a beautiful creation.

The list!

Have you ever wondered what you achieve in the next three years? Or where you will be?
Do you like making lists and goals for the future?

Then you should try the Day Zero Project!

The Challenge:

Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:

Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple challenges such as New Year's resolutions or a 'Bucket List'. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.

So here is mine:

Thanksgiving Daily

To all my friends in America...
Happy Thanksgiving!

Even though we don't celebrate thanksgiving here in Australia, I still like the meaning behind it.
We have a lot to be thankful for and it's good to reflect to what we are thankful for.

Here are some of the things that I am thankful for...
- My family: I am super close to my family and never would want to live without them, their are my world and my best friends.
- My Friends: Life would be dull without them. They add spice to my life.
- For my work: I am thankful for being employed and work for a company that looks after their staff.
- My faith, and the comfort that has brought to my life in the last year and a half.
- My health, sure it's not the best at the moment with the problems with my back, but it would be worst, i'm still breathing, talking and walking, i'm still alive so i'm happy with that.
- I am thankful for the peaceful country where I live.
- I am thankful for the upbringing that i have had and my happy childhood.
- I am happy for the little things in my life.

There is some much more that I am thankful for.
Take a look at this mormon message below, I totally agree with it, how about we live in thanksgiving daily.

Music of the moment...

Katy Perry, normally I'm not too keen on her music as most of the time it's pretty dodgy.
But I'm actually pretty surprised by this song, I actually quite like this song.

Hope you enjoy.

Book Of The Moment...

Halo, Loved this book.
The story had some twists and turns that I was not expecting and keep me interested the whole way through.
I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out! Pity that I have to wait till next year for the book to come out. But I'm sure that I can be patient till then.

Quote of the day...

Love is passion, obsession,
Someone you can't live without.
If you don't start with that,
What are you going to end up with?
Fall head over heels.
I say find someone you can love like crazy,
And who'll love you the same way back.
And how do you find him?
Forget you head and listen to your heart.
I'm not hearing any heart.
Run the risk,
If you get hurt,
You'll come back.
Because, the truth is there is no sense living your life with out this.
To make the journey,
And not fall deeply in love,
Well- you haven't lived life at all.
You have to try.
Because if you haven't tried,
You haven't lived.

Music of the moment...

But check out her song "Stuttering".

Project!!

At the moment I am currently planning a new project- Day zero project, 101 things in 1001 days.
Last year I attempted to start the 101 in 1001 project, but wasn't really focused enough to do it with the right about of heart and some of my goals changed.

About a week ago I decided to give it another go, to really take the time deciding on the goals in which i would want to achieve over the next 3 years (ish).

Stay tune, I'll be releasing the list very soon!
If you would like to know more about the Day Zero Project click on the link, how about starting one yourself?

Quote of the day...

Your life is your own,
To develop or to destroy.
You can blame others little
And yourself almost totally
If that life is not a productive,
Worthy, full and abundant one.

Quote of the day...

Sometimes people put up walls,
Not to keep people away,
But to see who cares enough to tear those walls down.

Life is about not knowing,
Having to change,
Taking the moment

Popcorn!

Gotta love the muppets!
The awesome kids that me and Lisa babysat for the other night showed us this video and I loved it!

Bring on the weekend...

Sure I know what your most likely thinking... hang on the weekend has only just finished, how can I be hanging out for the weekend already when the new week hasn't even started.

That is because I have three thing to look forward to this weekend...

1:
Friday night I fly out to Melbourne with the YSA to go to the Melbourne Temple. It going to be an awesome day on Saturday to spend time with the YSA in the amazing temple.

(Who wouldn't want to spend time in a building this beautiful!)
2:
I begin 2 weeks holidays. My mum is having shoulder surgery on the 30th so taking time off to help her out and because I have medical appointments and test to do in regards to my back as its not getting better and my CT scan show up some concerning things.

3:
The most important things that I am looking forward to is having my sister down!! YAY. She's coming down for my mum surgery and to spend christmas at home. Can't wait!! We have so much planned and I'm looking forward to spending time with just my sister and no one else. Haven't done that for a while and lately we have been getting a lot closer.

Quote of the day...

Happiness does not depend on what happens outside of you,
But on what happens inside of you.
It is measured by the spirit with which you meet the problems of life.

My Place in this big world...

Welcome to my little space in the world.
I'm am super excited because today I'm being featured on BlogTrotting.
First of all Hi to all my readers in all corners of the world!

The place that I call home is Hobart, which is the capital city of Tasmania, Australia.

I live about a 10 min walk from the centre of hobart city, I love being so close to the city.
On a nice day I enjoy heading down into the city, wondering around, finding interesting little shops and taking in the beauties of this city.

I love that the old is mix in the the new, that there is so much history right in front of me.
I love the parks right in the city, nothing more perfect then sitting reading a good book on a sunny day.

On warm summer evening, I find that the best way to spent a evening is walking along one of the many beaches with a friend, and just enjoy the time to talk in the peace of the evening.

I love that you can take a half an hour drive and find yourself...

At the beach...

Or in the forest...

I love Tasmania's hidden treasure...

There are so many parts of Tasmania that I love.
No matter if you like the country or the beach, the city or the forest
You can find a piece of Tasmania that suits you.

How about the weather here... let's just say...
4 seasons in 1 day

Tasmania is famous for many things such as the Tasmanian devil and tiger, our yummy apples, rich history, food and wine delights and so much more.

Life here is peace and calm. It is as simple as jumping into your car for a short drive to escape the stress of daily life.

Tasmania is a place to experience, once you visit you wont want to leave.

*Photo's from Google Images, except for the photo above, this photo is thanks to my Dad.

Quote of the day...

There are so many people out there that will tell you that you can't.
What you've got to do is turn around and say "Watch Me!"

Quote of the day...

Finish each day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities have crept in,
Forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
You shall begin it serenely
And with too high a spirit to be encumbered with you old nonsense.

-Emerson.

Quote of the day...

The truth is painful.
Deep down, nobody wants to hear it,
Especially when it hits close to home.
Sometimes we tell the truth because the truth is all we have to give.
Sometimes we tell the truth because we need to say it out loud to hear it for ourselves.
And sometimes we tell the truth because we just can't help ourselves.
Sometimes, we tell them because we owe them at least that much.

Quote of the day...

Patience means active waiting and enduring.
It means staying with something and doing all that we can-
Working, hoping, and exercising faith, bearing hardship with fortitude,
Even when the desires of our hearts are delayed.
Patience is not simply enduring,
It's is enduring well!

-President Dieter F. Uchtdorf
