Merry Christmas...

I hope that you all have had a great christmas,
That you have eaten way too much food,
Enjoyed naps to recover,
Spent time with loved ones,

But more importantly I hope that you have remembered the true meaning of Christmas,
I am grateful for the Saviours life and the sacrifice that he made for us!
There are so many things that we can learn from His life and example.
One of those is service, and keeping the spirit of Christmas with them all year long.

Mistletoe Kissing...

I think this video is hilarious!
I love the fact that it is at BYU
And the fact that he got slapped!
But he is cute...
I would let him kiss me...
All in the spirit of Christmas of course... hehe

Thoughts and Prayer for Newtown...

Twas' 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38
When 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven's gate.
Their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air.
They could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there.
They were filled with such joy, they didn't know what to say.
They remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day.
"Where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse.
"This is heaven." declared a small boy. "we're spending Christmas at God's house."

When what to their wondering eyes did appear,
But Jesus, their savior, the children gathered near.
He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same. Then He opened His arms and He called them by name. And in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bringThose children all flew into the arms of their King

And as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace,
One small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face.

And as if He could read all the questions she had
He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of mom and dad."

Then He looked down on earth, the world far below
He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woeThen He closed His eyes and He outstretched His hand,"Let My power and presence re-enter this land!""May this country be delivered from the hands of fools""I'm taking back my nation. I'm taking back my schools!"

Then He and the children stood up without a sound.
"Come now my children, let me show you around."Excitement filled the space, some skipped and some ran.All displaying enthusiasm that only a small child can.And i heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight,"In the midst of this darkness, I AM STILL THE LIGHT."

What happen last week breaks my heart,
But when I read that poem,
My heart was filled with peace,
Because I know,
That right now they are in the presence of the Lord, Jesus Christ, their older brother.
He is caring for them,
While they wait for their family to one day join them.
And I know that the Lord is looking over the families effected by these horrible events,
Blessing their lives and giving them comfort.

A story about Victoria Soto amazed me.
I don't know how to explain in words how this effected me,
All I can say is that there are hundred of people right know that are so grateful for the sacrifice that she made,
Because of that sacrifice there is a group of little kids with their whole lives to look forward to.

Today I read a article about the Stake president of the Parker family who lost their little girl Emily.
This made me cry but also made me proud to be a member of this gospel.
I was touched by how quick, within a heart beat willing he was to serve,
By the fact that nothing could be more important than to be there for that family,
And the other reason why it touched me so much,
Is that because even though I am in a new city,
I know that if somethings bad was to happen to my family,
I would have people from my local ward and stake,  that don't really know me,
Ready to serve me and my family any way they could.
I love the gospel! It is certainly true! I am so grateful to have it in my life.

I hope that this bring peace to anyone that is hurting.
Turn to the Lord, Jesus Christ... He can bring you peace, comfort and allow you to forgive.

Song Of The Moment...

There is a particular song at the moment that I am kinda addicted to...
And it's a Taylor Swift song.
Seriously wish that she was around over the past ten years!
The song that I am loving at the moment is...
"I Knew You Were Trouble"
Taylor you are awesome, and gorgeous!
Thank you for a song that I am happy to sing at the top of my lungs with passion!
