Book Of The Moment...

Recently I have finished reading the book "Red Riding Hood"
The book was pretty good, I just hope that the movie is too.
The story line kept me guessing and entertained.
I like the twists in the story compared to the normal old tale.
And well the guys in the book sounds HOT so hopefully they cast the actors well.

Has anyone seen the movie yet?? What did you think?

Book Of The Moment...

Halo, Loved this book.
The story had some twists and turns that I was not expecting and keep me interested the whole way through.
I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out! Pity that I have to wait till next year for the book to come out. But I'm sure that I can be patient till then.

Book Of The Moment...

Over the past two weeks this is what my has captured my attention...

Personal Demons was a good, it caught my attention early and and it had a interesting story line, right and wrong and how desire can distract you from what you really want.

The Choice. Loved this book! Nicholas is a really good story teller, there were twists and turns that I not expecting. This book keep me so interested that I read it in two day, could of read it quicker but distracted myself so that I could enjoy it for longer.
Now out of the books that are in the pile to read, I wonder which one I'll read next...

Book Of The Moment...

Latest books that I have read was a series called "I heart" by Lindsey Selk.
I absolutely LOVED her books and can not wait till she realises another one!

The books are about a girl called Angela who moves to New York and about the adventures that makes her decided to move to New York and more so the adventures that happen when she arrives.

Not saying anything more cause I don't want to give anything away, you'll just have to go and read them yourself. But trust me your going to love them!

Can't wait to read her next book at find out what else Angela has been up to.

Their one of my weaknesses and I just love the look of a full book shelf. Due to this I am now in need of a second book case, as you can see in the picture below, I now have a small-ish pile started on my desk, I have a feeling that the pile will grow pretty quickly.

Book Of The Moment...

About a month ago I brought a couple of books off Deseret Book store, one of which being this book:

I totally LOVED this book! This is the type of book that once you start reading it you can't put it down. Reading this book was like being there, I felt the emotion, laughed and giggled in the fun and cute bits, was sad at the low part.

Lisa came around while I was reading the book and I would sit there and read out parts to her that I liked. Once I finished reading the book Lisa read it and also fell in love with it.

What I loved most about the book is how real and honest it is. The way the character thinks is just like how I think sometimes. I love the wit and cheekiness of it.

Buy it, borrow it, just read it and you will love it! I promise you that! It is a book that i look forward to reading again and again in the future.

Waiting for the mail...

The other night I did a little bit of shopping online. The other month I discovered Etsy and I fell in LOVE!! There are so many things that I would love to purchase from some of the sellers on here, there are some extremely talented people on there.

First Purchase: I made off Etsy was from a seller- EliseJoy, I first fell in love with her when i discovered her blog, she is an AMAZING and TALENTED person and it just shines through her blog.

This is what I purchased from her etsy shop....

When I first saw these two I knew that I needed and wanted them! So I brought them, and email from Elise today to say that they have been posted. EXCITED!!!

Second purchase: was from a very talented friend from Sydney, I love her artwork and as soon as I saw this piece it was love at first sight! Check out her facebook page- A Beautiful Pea-Green Boat and you'll fall in love with her too!

Third Purchase...

Book of the moment...

Back in late October last year my flat mate Lisa did a blog entry of about an amazing little girl named Elena Desserich. Elena was 6 years old when she died from brain cancer. The blog entry about Elena touched my heart.

Last week I was on my lunch break and shopping with my Mum, while in Big W, I walked past a Discounted table of a range of different products, out the counter of my eye I noticed a book sitting underneath a child's toy. I picked up the book and recognised it straight away. 'Notes Left Behind'.

As soon as I made sure that this was the book that I was thinking of I knew I had to buy it and read the story of this amazing little girl.

So my book of the moment is "Notes Left Behind". I've only just started to read the book, and already i know that this book is going to require a box of tissues at my side while I read it.

I'll let you know my review of the book once I have finished reading it.

Books, book, and more books...

Books, love them but i have a bit of catching up to do.....

The top photo is books yet to read and the bottom photo, yes they are more books that i am yet to read but they are also a series, 10 books to the series, read three about five years ago, but wish to re-read them and finish reading the others.
So the new books case that my dad so kindly built me (post coming soon), the book case is full, and as you see i have plenty to keep me busy, but of course i have a wish list of books to wish to buy... i wonder how long i can resist for?
